Overview

Dubai International Capital planned to develop 24 Holiday Inn Express Hotels across the Middle East.  The first built are located in Dubai at the Knowledge Village, Safa Park, Jumeirah and Dubai Airport, followed by a 300-bedroom, 18-storey hotel in Bahrain.

In 2007, Kingston was appointed during the boom years, when construction costs escalated, and the client therefore began facing claims for these escalations, material shortages, and extensive delays. Kingston not only managed to keep the claims within the contingency allowances but also, through careful budgeting, planning and cost control, successfully reduced the cost per square meter with each successive project.
