Overview

The 152,000 sq ft (14,200 m²) covered shopping centre stands as the prime location for retail in the city. A 78,000 sq ft extension was further completed, and pre-lets were secured with British Home Stores, TJ Hughes, New Look, and The Entertainer.

The centre now hosts over 40 shops with a total retail space of 230,000 ft² (21,375 m²) and incorporates office spaces for the local authorities. With an average weekly footfall of over 107,000 visitors, further considerations for remodelling and redevelopment are under discussion for this regional shopping centre.
