Overview
The already spectacular skyline of Dubai has been dramatically transformed by the iconic DIFC Gate building, which houses, among others, the DIFC Authority, the DFSA and the DIFX (the DIFC’s Financial Exchange).
In 2004, Dubai International Financial Centre (“DIFC”) awarded the contract to construct the four Gate Precinct buildings to a joint venture between ACT (Architectural Construction Team) and Peremba Construction. The agreement led to the construction of buildings 1, 2, 3, and 4 of the Gate Precinct Buildings, three levels of basement car parking, and the surrounding landscaping.
Kingston assisted in providing engineering supervision and construction management for the contractor.
