The Government of Ajman assigned and provided a site to W.L.C. for the development of a new airport at Al-Manama, 60 kilometers east of Ajman City. The W.L.C. intends to operate the Project as a Build/ Operate/ Transfer scheme (B.O.T.).

Overview
The site has been officially mapped and documented, and the 9-kilometre perimeter is currently being enclosed. WLC is therefore now in full possession of two sites: the leading site for the airport and a smaller 300,000-square-meter site adjacent to it, together covering 6,806,303.30 square meters of land and jointly valued at US$ 340 million.
In 2014, Kingston undertook the management and overview of all on-site and off-site activities such as directing the architect (s), the consultant (s), the engineer (s) and the contractor (s) where and when required. Kingston reviews every aspect of the proposed initiation, planning, procurement, mobilization, construction, testing, commissioning, soft operation, pre-opening and the close-out stages of the project. Along the way Kingston assists and advises the client upon any necessary actions required.
