The challenge the Seychelle Airport project was to expand the terminal in order to accommodate the growth in passenger traffic without any inconvenience towards the airport’s operations and retail activities.

Overview

The Government of Seychelles is the owner and operator of the only international airport in the Seychelles. The terminal was recently renovated and extended, but the government also plans to build a new, modern terminal on the grounds right next to the existing terminal. The new terminal should incorporate both domestic, international and cargo sections.

In response to the SCAA initiative to extend the Mahe International Airport, Kingston and Lagan Construction were pleased to submit a joint transport profile for the review and consideration of the Seychelles Government in 2012.
